still life
July 18, 2007This film 'still life' was crafted by a former theresian, from batch '96. This was made by a former theresian, 8 years ahead of me. big difference.
After watching the trailer for the first time, i really don't know what to feel, or how to feel. I am confused with what to comment on first– the cinematography, the fact that the director is a former theresian, are the scenes actually shot in the philippines? or does such serene place exist, what is the story really about (ok, i did not get the gist of the 'still life' for the first time), or the fact that it made it to the rigorous cinemalaya auditions, ANO MAI?
I couldn't make up my mind, or is it really a question of i COULDN'Ts in life. I really just don't want to make up my mind right now, or else this would end up like another entry exhausted from frustration. i will spare you from that.
